
Emilio Silvas
Emilio Silvas is Chief Operating Officer and Head of Product for The Silvas Group, a public entity consulting firm located in Converse, Texas. He has more than two decades of experience in software development and product leadership roles for both B2B and B2C organizations. As the Director of Product Development at Parlevel Systems, he was part of the leadership team that prepared Parlevel Systems for successful acquisition.
Early in his career, Silvas performed cancer research and co-authored an international patent. He served as the founding Director of Bioinformatics for the Cancer Therapy and Research Center. Silvas went on to co-found Weblings, Inc, an early internet web services company.
Silvas served five (5) years on the City of San Antonio Ethics Review Board and is a graduate of the South San Antonio Chamber’s Leadership Development Program. Silvas currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Greater Randolph Area Services Program (GRASP), a non-profit organization located in Converse, Texas providing services to seniors in the Metrocom area.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Emilio Silvas is a native of San Antonio and lives in Converse, Texas with his wife and son. He has served as a youth minister, volunteer soccer coach, team manager, and volunteer with the San Antonio Red Cross. He is an avid fan of his son’s soccer career and of Liverpool Football Club.
